Our management team
Reinhold Knödl obtained his university degree from VWA Regensburg.
He started his career at Sparkasse Regensburg, initially in the audit risk department, before moving on to risk management. In 1989, he joined GEFA, Deutsche Bank’s leasing arm, as a regional sales manager. Five years down the line, he switched to the international marketing unit at Deutsche Credit Corporation, a Deutsche Bank subsidiary in Chicago. Starting in 1996, by now a managing director, he helped to drive forward the Deutsche Bank group’s leasing operations in the Czech Republic. The net was cast wider in 1998 to include Slovakia. In 2001, GEFA was purchased by the Societe Generale Group.
Reinhold Knöl has been SGEF’s CEO in the Czech Republic and Slovakia since 2007.
Eva Jiránková obtained her MBA from Freie Universität Teufen under the patronage of the University of Economics, Prague.
She gained her first experience in lease financing at the Czech leasing company Master. She was one of the founding members of Société Générale Equipment Finance in the Czech Republic, starting out here in 1995 as Senior Account Manager for vehicle and food-processing technology financing.
Since 2002, Eva Jiránková has been responsible for financing high-tech, aircraft and railway technology, both in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 2021, her role expanded to include marketing and business strategy and the development of international vendor cooperation.
Zdeněk Kejval graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics, Prague.
Before joining Societe Generale Equipment Finance, he spent 11 years at CAC Leasing (UniCredit Leasing), where he held various positions ranging from account manager and department manager through to plant and equipment financing director and head of corporate financing. From 2003 to 2006, he sat on the supervisory board here.
In 2006, Zdeněk Kejval joined SGEF as Head of Business Development, where he worked several years on strategy and marketing and was appointed an authorised signatory. He is now responsible for the company's digital transformation, including the adoption of new technologies and the digitization of processes.
Libor Košíček graduated from Technical University in Liberec and Internationales Hochschulinstitut in Germany. He also spent some time studying at the University of the West of England. Libor started his career at Škoda Mladá Boleslav. He first joined SGEF in 1999, and between 2007 and 2009 worked at the company as a Sales Director in Slovakia. He moved from Bratislava to Prague in 2010 to head PEMA, a leading rental provider of heavy-duty semi-trailer trucks in Europe.
In 2016, Libor Košíček returned to SGEF as Sales Director, where he took over the management of his sales team. Since 2024, he has been responsible for the management of all regional offices across the Czech Republic.
Pavel Němec obtained his Engineering degree at the University of Economics, Prague with specialization in Finance.
Pavel started his carrier with Československá obchodní banka in 1999 in Risk department where his risk experience were developed. Pavel went through various positions in Risk department of the bank (Credit Analyst, Local Risk Manager, Risk Manager). He participated as designer and lecturer in several education programs for sales and risk staff of the bank.
During the years 2007 to 2013 and 2019 to 2021 Pavel worked for Risk department of Komerční banka (Societe Generale Group). For the first five years he worked here as a Risk Manager in Credit Risk Assessment department. Pavel was member of HQ Risk sectorial team and participated on risk assessment and approvals of significant credit transactions.
For the last three years he has been responsible as a Supervision and Risk Prevention Manager for coordination and development of synergies in the area of risk management between KB Group companies.
He held the position of Director of Risk Management at SGEF already in 2013-2019.
Petr Němec graduated in Finance from the University of Economics, Prague. He is an ACCA chartered certified accountant specialising in IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and was awarded his Executive MBA title by the University of Pittsburgh.
He took the first steps in his successful career with the consulting company PricewaterhouseCoopers, where, over the next six years, he worked his way up to the position of manager in the risk management and operational excellence section. From 2004 to 2006, he was the economics and finance director at ČEPS.
In 2007, Petr Němec accepted an offer to work for SGEF, where he initially took over the reins of internal operations management, before being promoted to CFO and authorised signatory.
