Environmental sustainability

We are actively involved in environmental protection. We have developed a specific action plan to reduce our carbon footprint in the coming years. This plan not only includes a commitment to regularly measure and monitor our carbon footprint, but also sets out clear steps to reduce it. Through this plan, we aim to consistently decrease our impact on the environment.

The action plan [pdf] is in line with Societe Generale Group's strategy to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. We have identified the main sources of CO2 emissions and developed procedures to reduce them.

Our objectives fall within areas that we can influence ourselves:

1. Reducing the electricity and heat consumed in office spaces - focusing on an energy mix exclusively from renewable sources.
2. Employee commuting and business travel - motivating employees and getting them on board with the idea of CO2 savings.
3. Business travel and vehicles - implementing a new strategy that focuses on reducing emissions produced by the company fleet.
4. Reducing waste production - reducing office paper consumption, eliminating the use of single-use plastics.
